Gov. Ortom reacts to death of Benue Perm. Sec., family in mysterious fire outbreak

Governor Samuel Ortom is deeply saddened by the death of Mr Seker Akaa, a Director and Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Science and Technology who died with his wife and two children in a fire incident at their Makurdi residence in the early hours of today.

The Governor says the death of Mr Akaa and his family is a painful loss to the State Government and Benue in general.

He consoles the bereaved family as well as their friends and relations over the unfortunate incident.

Governor Ortom prays God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
