Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has promised to offer employment to Miss Helen Abeh, daughter of late Likita Abeh who died December 2021.
Miss Helen Abeh is the daughter of the late elder statesman, Likita Abeh, who hails from Ugondo, Mbadwem Council Ward of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State.
Governor Ortom made the pledge Monday, 10th January, 2022 in Makurdi during a condolence visit on the bereaved family of late Likita Abeh.
He described the deceased as a humble and hardworking man who was productive even in retirement and charged his children to emulate his virtues.
Governor Ortom while praying God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss, pledged government support to ensure a befitting burial for the deceased.
Governor Ortom also paid separate unscheduled visits on retired Judge Sylvanus Agagbe and the widow of Late Felix Iyo, aka Iyo Ihyarev, Mrs Margret Iyo in their Makurdi residences.
The two who were surprised and filled with joy over the visits, prayed God to bless and grant the Governor’s heart desires now and always.
The Governor was accompanied on the visits by his Chief of Staff, Dr Tivlumun Nyitse, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Michael Gusa, Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, Hon Bernard Unenge and his Principal Special Assistant on Special Duties, Hon Abrahams Kwaghngu among others.
