Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has pledged to cover the examination fees for students attending government-owned secondary schools in the state. This initiative, announced during a meeting with Union leaders and Market Associations, aims to alleviate financial strain on families and prioritize education amidst economic challenges.
During a gathering at the old Banquet Hall, Government House in Makurdi, Governor Hyacinth Alia reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education by promising to pay for the examination fees of students sitting for West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NACO), and National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NATEB) exams.
