Govt orders RCCG, Mountain of Fire, Deeper, Foursquare, Living Faith, others against holding crossover services into 2021

The Government of Ogun State has placed a ban on crossover service, end of year parties, weddings, naming, birthdays, anniversaries, street carnivals, etc until further notice.

This order came following the second wave of the deadly coronavirus surges in the country.

The the development, mega churches such as Living Faith, RCCG, Deeper Life, Mountain of Fire located in the state would not hold the yearly crossover service with crowd.

The governor also directed all civil servants and other government workers in the State to proceed on Christmas and New Year holiday from December 24 till January

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, on Wednesday, the governor said the directive was given after a meeting with religious and community leaders in the state, in preparation for the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

Abiodun directed that all schools should remain closed until January 18, 2021, while all bars, nightclubs, pubs and event centres, recreational centres in the state were shut down indefinitely.
