The 2026 Grammy Awards are currently underway, drawing global attention as artistes from across continents compete for honours in 95 categories at the Recording Academy’s annual ceremony.

As is tradition, only a limited number of awards will be presented during the main televised event, while most categories are concluded at the pre-telecast premiere ceremony, where winners are announced gradually.

Nigeria is represented at this year’s Grammys, with artistes such as Burna Boy, Davido, and Ayra Starr earning nominations in major African and global categories.
