The Police in Kaduna State, have confirmed the attack by gunmen on Greenfield University.
DAILY POST had reported that the attack was carried out on Tuesday night when gunmen invaded the school premises and whisked away unspecified number of students.
Confirming the attack, the Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige told newsmen on Wednesday in Kaduna, that some students were abducted, NAN reports.
Jalige, however, said that the number of the students kidnapped had not been known yet
He further revealed that security operatives have been deployed to the general area for search and rescue operation.
