Gunmen abduct Mochu clinic owner in Nasarawa, demand N58 million ransom

Gunmen suspected of being kidnappers have seized Mr. Yakubu Alkali, the owner of Mochu Memorial Clinic, from his home in Moroa, Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The abduction took place on Tuesday night, according to a family member who spoke to the press. The kidnappers have since contacted the family, demanding a ransom of N58 million for Mr. Alkali’s release.

Attempts to obtain a comment from local police have been unsuccessful as of this report.

Mr. Alkali is well-regarded for his extensive philanthropic efforts both locally and beyond.
