Unknown gunmen have reportedly ambushed and attacked Umutu patrol vehicle on Wednesday morning in Delta state.
IDOMA VOICE had earlier reported that gunmen have attacked and killed three policemen at a checkpoint in Obeti Community in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
A police source told within Nigeria that the unknown gunmen killed three police officers.
According to the police source, the slain officers were also burned by the unknown gunmen in their patrol vehicle.
He added that all men on patrol stop and search including escort duties have been notified to be on red alert.
