Gunmen have abducted a medical doctor identified as Mansur Mohammed and several others in Zamfara State.
This was confirmed by the Zamfara state chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).
The union condemned the attack, urging the Federal and the State governments to rise up to the security challenges.
It was gathered that until the unfortunate incident, Dr. Mansur, was the Director-General of Dansadau General Hospital.
He was said to have been whisked away by men of the underworld on Saturday, June 25, 2022, along Dansadau-Magami road as bandits blocked the road, Daily Post reports.
