Gunmen kidnap Godwin Musa in Otukpa, demand N10m ransom

Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a prominent son of Orido in Otukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State, Mr Godwin Musa.

Musa is a son of Ebute Okpe from Orido, a retired senior staff of NNPC.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that Musa was kidnapped in front of Complit Comprehensive Secondary School Olaochagbaha Otukpa when he was returning from a burial in Orido.

A native of Otukpa, Akor Ikwuoche said the kidnappers have made contact with his wife demanding 10 million Naira.

He said, “That was just one of several terror that has taken place within a space of two weeks after three young men butchered one another to death in the name of cultism at Odoba Otukpa during a birthday party.

“Several other horrible occurrences ranging from outright sale of little kids to ritual killing and all sorts criminality that are unheard of before now.

“I feel so sad that we live among ourselves as brothers and sisters without much strangers, yet all these type of things happen in our midst.”
