A gang of bandits launched an invasion in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State on Tuesday and abducted Mallam Mansur Kaura, the manager of Taj Bank’s Gusau branch, from his residence.
According to reports from DAILY POST, the bandits arrived at the banker’s home around 12:30 am, heavily armed with sophisticated weapons.
They fired shots indiscriminately, instilling fear among residents, before proceeding to abduct the manager.
It was reported that the bandits carried out acts of terror in several areas, including Mareri, Damba, Tsauni, and Samaru, within the state capital, before making their escape.
As of now, no official statement has been issued by the security authorities regarding this latest attack by bandits.
