Gunmen set magistrate court ablaze in Imo

Unknown gunmen have bombed a Magistrate Court in Ubulu, Oru-West Local Government Area of Imo State.

Sources say the assailants carried out the attack on Monday using petrol bombs, setting the court ablaze.

The fire which began in the early hours affected the entire court building.

The Interim Management Committee chairman of Oru-west LGA of Imo State, Hon. Willie Okolieogwo, confirmed the incident and expressed displeasure over the attack.

He said although the court was completely razed by the hoodlums, no casualties were recorded.
