Halima Abubakar seeks forgiveness from Apostle Suleman

Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has publicly apologized to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for defaming him.

Abubakar admitted to making false statements about Suleman, causing him emotional distress through social media.

The conflict between the actress and Apostle Suleman began in 2022 after Abubakar fell ill following their dispute. Her family took to social media, accusing the clergyman and asking him to stay away from her. However, many speculated that the actress was suffering from an autoimmune disease, a claim she denied by releasing her medical report.

In a heartfelt letter to Apostle Suleman, Abubakar expressed deep regret for her actions and the damage caused to his reputation.

Her letter states: “I admit that I made false allegations against you and deeply regret the harm caused to you, your wife Dr. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of Omega Fire Ministry.

“With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, knowing that my apology cannot undo the pain and distress I caused. I ask you to find it in your heart to forgive me, as I was not in the right state of mind at the time.

“I am truly sorry for all the hurt and suffering I caused you, your family, and your ministry.”
