Hardship: Primate Ayodele sends powerful warning to Tinubu

Renowned spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele has urged Nigerians to prioritize prayers over protests in the face of the country’s economic challenges.

Speaking through his spokesperson, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele stressed the need for citizens to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his ministers, noting their apparent confusion about the nation’s economic state.

Expressing concern over a potential economic shutdown within two weeks if the crisis isn’t addressed, Primate Ayodele cautioned against resorting to curses or protests.

He stressed, “Cursing President Tinubu and those in power will not solve anything. Nigerians should learn to pray for their leaders because we all want the country to be better.

“In the next two weeks, the Nigerian economy may shut down if there is no solution to some of the issues we are facing, especially on price control.”

Reiterating previous advice to the government, Primate Ayodele emphasized the urgency of addressing key issues such as price control, electricity stability, security, infrastructure development, and job creation.

He stated, “The Government of Nigeria must work on five things in 2024 which can make the country great.”
