Havertz will flop at Arsenal – William Gallas

Former Arsenal defender William Gallas has cast a shadow of doubt over Kai Havertz’s prospects at Arsenal, following the player’s transition from Chelsea.

The seasoned Gunners icon expressed skepticism about Havertz’s synergy with the Arsenal ensemble, revealing his surprise at the club’s decision to bring him on board.

Havertz’s switch from Chelsea to Arsenal was the talk of the summer transfer window, clocking in at a hefty £65 million. This move saw the German maestro committing to a five-year tenure at the Emirates.

Although Havertz emerged triumphant in securing the UEFA Champions League title with Chelsea, Gallas highlighted his inconsistency as a disconcerting trait. The midfielder managed 19 goals across 91 league appearances for the Blues, a record that left much to be desired.

When asked about his outlook on Havertz’s journey with Arsenal, Gallas candidly told Gambling Zone that the young forward’s lack of consistency could hamper his success.

Gallas shared, “I’m inclined to doubt it. From my perspective, Havertz isn’t the type of player Arsenal needed to acquire this summer. Even during his stint at Chelsea, his performance graph exhibited wavering consistency. While he did score goals that carried weight for the club and exhibited moments of brilliance, he didn’t establish a string of standout performances.”

He continued, “Throughout his time with Chelsea, his level of consistency didn’t meet my expectations. Hence, when news broke that Arsenal secured his signature, I found myself perplexed. The move caught me off guard, to be honest.”
