He was like a son to me – Atiku reacts to death of David Mark’s son, Tunde

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  Atiku Abubakar, has commiserated with the former Senate President, Senator David Mark, on the death of his first son, Tunde Mark, saying he was shocked at the sad news.

IDOMA VOICE reported that Tunde died in the early hours of Friday in London, the United Kingdom. He was said to have suffered from cancer and died at the age of 51 years.

Taking to his verified Facebook page, Atiku said he was shocked and saddened by the news of the loss of Tunde Mark.

His post below;

I am shocked and saddened by the news of the loss of Tunde Mark, the son of former Senate President, Sen. David Mark. I share in his grief, and because Tunde and I had a special relationship, I took him as a son. It is my prayer that God, who is the decider of all affairs, will heal all hearts that are hurt by this grief and accept the repose of his soul. -AA

Before his death, Tunde was an alumnus of Yaba Military School, Lagos, and the prestigious Fernden Prep School, Haslemere, Surrey.

He left behind a wife and a daughter.
