Pandemonium erupted in the Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State as an unidentified helicopter crashed into a building and immediately caught fire. The incident occurred near the AP Filling Station and United Bank For Africa on Oba Akran road.
Eyewitnesses reported that the crash took place around 3:30 PM. As of now, it remains uncertain whether the helicopter pilots survived the accident, and the extent of other potential casualties is also unclear. First emergency responders are actively engaged in rescue operations at the crash site.
The Lagos Fire and Rescue Service team is enroute to the scene to assist with the emergency operation and mitigate the situation. Updates will be provided as the situation unfolds.
