HELP! My husband is using alekwu to frustrate me – Lady cries out

Good morning editor, kindly help publish this on your widely-read platform.

I am married to an Idoma man from Otukpa in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.I am from Auchi, Edo State.
The marriage is barely one year but it seems I made the worst mistake of my life.

Everything seems to be working upside down for me.
Since we got married, I have not enjoyed the marriage.
My husband is an ardent believer of this thing called alekwu and has been using that to terrorise me.

Firstly, he doesn’t do head. He said his alekwu forbids it and two of us will die the day I try it.

He practically barred me from talking to my male friends on the phone.
He doesn’t want me to use social media.
He said I can’t send money to my parents without his permission.
Anything I do he would say alekwu will strike me dead.

I am 5 months pregnant and my husband won’t touch me again because of alekwu.
He didn’t tell me all these before our wedding.
Seems I am in a prison.
I want to know if this is how alekwu operates.I have read a lot about alekwu but didn’t see where most of those things he claims were mentioned.
I am frustrated and I am thinking of quitting the marriage.

Kindly help.
