Governor Samuel Ortom has accused president Mohammadu Buhari of complicity and bias in handling herders/ farmers crisis in Benue state.
Gov. Ortom while speaking during the visit to Ter Tyoshin, Chief Ayua Abomtse in Gwer West local government Area of Benue state, regretted that despite the overwhelming support President Mohammadu Buhari got from the people of Benue state, he has has not shown any commitment in handling the crisis that destroyed the economic way of life of his people, a development he said has caused untold hardship to the people, leading to humanitarian crisis in the state.
The governor wondered why president Buhari was still looking for a second term mandate when his brain memory has significantly waned.
Governor Ortom called on the people of Benue state to vote all PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Earlier in his remarks, the Ter Tyoshin, Chief Abomtse blessed governor Samuel Ortom for his aspirations,and called on all Tyoshin people of Gwen West to support the governor’s second term mandate.
