Herdsmen finally release kidnapped student

Freedom has finally come the way of Odetunde Ayodeji Emmanuel, a Sociology student of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, who was kidnapped a few days ago by suspected herdsmen.

His release was confirmed to have been released by his brother, Olumide

Fulani herdsmen abducted the young man at Oke Odan, Apete community while he was working on his father’s poultry farm on Monday evening.

Olumide said his brother was released at about 7:15 pm on Thursday along Iseyin Road in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.

“He is back with us now. He was kidnapped in Ibadan but picked up along Iseyin”, says Olumide.
