Al-Nassr’s new head coach, Stefano Pioli, has shared insights on working with legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo, praising the Portuguese star’s enduring passion for football, even at this stage in his career.
The Italian coach, who joined Al-Nassr in September, has overseen just seven games with Ronaldo in the squad. Under Pioli’s guidance, Ronaldo has excelled, scoring five goals and providing one assist across 623 minutes of play.
Speaking to A BOLA, the former AC Milan manager described Ronaldo’s performances as “phenomenal.”
“I discovered that Cristiano still has the same passion and enthusiasm as if he were still young despite his advanced age, always striving for achievements.
“He gives his best to score more goals and help the team. He definitely impressed me,” he said.
