‘Home Alone’ actor, Catherine O’Hara dies at 71
Catherine O’Hara, the celebrated Hollywood actress renowned for her performances in Home Alone and Schitt’s Creek, has passed away at the age of 71.
Her death was confirmed by her representation at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), who stated she died at her residence in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. The cause of her passing has not been revealed.
O’Hara became a household name for her portrayal of the frazzled yet loving mother of Macaulay Culkin’s character in the first two Home Alone movies.
She later gained widespread critical acclaim and captured the hearts of a new audience through her Emmy-winning role as Moira Rose on the comedy series Schitt’s Creek, appearing in all 80 episodes.
