Chairman Elect for Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, James Oche has intimated that, the Homeland Defence Volunteers Front will assist other Security agencies in combating crime in Ado.

James Oche stated this recently in Makurdi while responding to questions from journalists on his plans to tackle the lingering securities in Ado. According to him, the Homeland Defence Volunteers who are largely made up of locals will play a significant role.

Officers of the Nigerian Army, the Police Force and the Vigilante according to Oche will be merged to form a Joint Task Force Team. The team will take drastic measures to subdue the activities of criminal elements who for months now have perpetuated heinous crimes within the area.

James Oche is optimistic that, with the readiness on the part of government, security agencies like the Homeland Defence and the cooperation of the people, crime will be minimized to barest in Ado under his watch.
