Hon Agom Anthony Of PDP wins Okpokwu State Assembly seat

Hon Anthony Agom of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won the Okpokwu state constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly.
Announcing the result, Hon Anthony Agom of the PDP won with 11,504 votes against Mrs Theresa Odachi Ikwue of the APC who scored 9,248 votes. The Returning Officer, Dr Simon Ejembi of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi announced the results in Okpoga on Saurday

Hon Anthony Agom of the PDP emerged winner of the scheduled supplementary election due to cancellation of results and insufficient margin of lead from the March 9, Governorship and House of Assembly election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
