Hon. Alli urges Otukpo residents to adhere to safety measures in order to defeat Covid-19

The immediate past Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Chief. George Alli, has called on the people of Otukpo Local Government Area to adhere strictly to all safety measures so as to prevent the spread of the dreaded CORONA VIRUS epidemic.

Alli made the call today in a mobile phone chats with this reporter.

He said the call has become necessary in the face of the upcoming local government elections billed to take place soon.

According to him, residents should adhere to all safety measures enunciated by the World Health Organization stressing, “we should endeavour to maintain social distance in our Public gathering”.

Similarly, all the thirteen councillorship candidates of the People’s Democratic Party for Otukpo LG, also advised members of the Public to imbibe safety measures so as to halt the menace of the disease.

They urged people to constantly utilize the use of face mask, wash their hands regularly, maintain personal hygiene as a preventative measure.
