The caretaker chairman of Otukpo local government area, Rt. Hon. George Alli was on Saturday 26th October, 2019 bestowed with an award of excellence by G4 media.
Hon. Alli who was highly represented by his vice, Hon. Inalegwu Abraham received the award as the ‘most media and traditional ruler’s friendly chairman in Benue south’.
However, the National chairman of G4 media, Mr. Emmanuel Ondaje Stephen during the event disclosed to newsmen that Hon. Alli was deemed fit for the award by the foremost media company in recognition of his role in peace, security and infrastructural development in Otukpo LGA, media and traditional rulers in Idoma traditional area council.
Other recipient of the of the award of excellence includes HRH chief Samuel Onuh Awulu, the Ad’Otukpo who also doubles as the 2nd class chief Of Otukpo and Hon. Okoh Achegbulu, former Special Adviser to Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
Reacting to the event, Former Otukpo Local Government Chairmen, Hon. Godwin Okpoju Former Chairman Otukpo local government and Hon. Gabriel Olofu one time caretaker Chairman and Special Adviser to the Benue State Governor Hon.Olofu Commended Comrade Ondaje for the initiative as they were both recognized and decorated with gold medals.
Dignitaries present at the award ceremony includes all clan heads from the various corners of Otukpo LGA. Also present was The Unit Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Adoka Comman ACC SMA Orokpo, Also recognized in high value among them is Chief Eric Odeh Okoko Clan head of Ward 3, as the best coordinating and youngest clan head, Chief Odeh was recognized with a Golden medal and Nigeria Flag as symbol of dynamic leadership quality exhibited as a young and and supportive Chief.
