How Access Bank media manager, Abdul Imoyo died in Lagos

Abdul Kolawole Imoyo, a media manager and journalist, has passed away.

Formerly a newspaper editor in Lagos, he joined Access Bank in 2014 as the corporate communications manager for the prominent financial services group. At the time of his demise, Imoyo held the position of Head of Media Relations at Access Holding.

The announcement of his passing came through a statement issued by Tunde Imoyo, representing the family. According to the statement, Abdul Kolawole Imoyo succumbed to a brief illness in the early hours of Sunday, December 17, 2023, at First Cardiology in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The family expressed their profound sorrow, describing Imoyo as a beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and Uncle. They conveyed gratitude for the support and prayers received and mentioned that further details and announcements about the funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.
