How footballer slumped, died during match in Anambra

A football player identified simply as Afam has died after he slumped during a football match in Obosi, Anambra State.

The incident reportedly happened on Monday, February 21, during a match between Iwene Tansi Football Club and another local football club at Odum Layout.

A Facebook user, Chukwuneke Ugochukwu Bishop, said the player slumped during the group match and was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.

He wrote: Football fans

He failed down yesterday in a group match
