Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the North Central Region has resolved the leadership crisis that engulfed the party in Niger State.
Governor Ortom while briefing journalists after a meeting with PDP stakeholders from Niger State held at the Benue State Governor’s Lodge Asokoro, Abuja said all issues were resolved and parties agreed to work together for a common good.
He stated that unlike the previous meeting, all stakeholders were present and had reached a consensus to put the events of the past behind them and build a virile and formidable party that would win all elections in 2023.
The Governor had in his opening remarks, acknowledged the mandate given him by the National Executive of the PDP to resolve the crisis hindering the smooth operations of the party in Niger State and solicited the cooperation of all stakeholders for the desired result.
Former Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Babangida Aliyu, aka Chief Servant while briefing journalists said they were able to resolve all the issues during the meeting.
He noted that all stakeholders would go back home, discuss and bring out the best leadership of the PDP in Niger State, adding that they had no more problems that would put them apart.
