How man allegedly killed his friend to avoid paying back N30k debt

A young Nigerian man simply identified as Ephraim, has allegedly been killed by a friend whom he lend some money.

According to a Twitter user who goes by the handle @cheerful_heartz, who shared the news on the platform, the victim was said to has borrowed a friend the sum of N30k and was invited by the friend for a repayment only to be rammed over with a car by the said friend whose identify was yet-to-be revealed.

The Twitter user further disclosed that the incident happened on Wednesday night, in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

She wrote; “He lend his friend 30k and the friend called him to come and get it. Do you know what he did instead? He ran him over with his car. He killed him last night in Uyo.

“He killed Ephraim for 30k. A young boy hustling to make ends meet. Nigeria is not our problem but Nigerians.”

She however, did not state whether the suspect was arrested or the matter has been reported to the police.
