On Thursday, 9th June, 2022, Nigerian football Star, John Mikel Obi was spotted playing street football match at Evans square Ebutte Meta, Lagos.
The Super Eagles former captain arrived the training arena at Ebutte Meta fully disguised, putting on a cap and as well as shielding his face with a white handkerchief.
Interestingly, some minutes later Mikel Obi uncovered himself to the surprise and cheers of the spectators and footballers at the venue.
Reason for John Mikel Obi’s outing at the Evans Square in consonance with the report that the former Chelsea football club Midfielder organizes a talent hunt initiative titled, “Back2Base” to inspire Nigerian local athletes and to give them chance to showcase their talents to the world.
