How PANDEF Leader, Edwin Clark died

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) leader, Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, has passed away at the age of 97.

His death was confirmed in a statement released by a representative of the family, Prof. C. C. Clark, on Tuesday.

The statement read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark on Monday, 17th February 2025. The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”

Chief Edwin Clark was a former Federal Commissioner for Information and a prominent South-South leader.

His passing comes just three days after the death of Pa Ayo Adebanjo, the prominent leader of Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, who died at the age of 96.
