Sensational singer, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu aka Ric Hassani, says he was robbed at gunpoint by men posing as Nigerian soldiers.
The incident, IDOMA VOICE learnt, happened on Friday night (13th February).
The singer took to micro-blog, Twitter, to narrate the ugly experience.
He tweeted:
“I really didn’t want to have to say anything. I handled yesterday like nothing happened. I like to see these things as beneath me to be honest, Thieves are not meant to move me. I would buy another phone and move but you, you still would keep having to steal to survive. Terrible.”
IDOMA VOICE recalls that Ric Hassani was recently rumoured to be romantic relationship with ace-songstress, Waje, but on Valentine’s Day, the singer complained about not receiving any gift.
“I’ve actually never gotten a Valentines present, but hoping sey this year God go change my story,” Ric Hassani tweeted.
