How to check JAMB mop-up result 2022 Via SMS

Students who sat for the 2022/2023 mop-up examination for 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) can now access their result via SMS.

To check your Mop-up Result through SMS, send UTMERESULT to 55019  or 66019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line).

The result would be replied to as an SMS shortly after.

  1. Ensure the Phone number you are using to send UTMERESULT to 55019 is the same number you used in creating your profile code during UTME registration.
  2. If you have lost the Phone number or SIM and go for JAMB Change of Number.
  3. Ensure the format of the SMS is UTMERESULT to 55019. Note that the result must be in capital letters and it must be spelt “UTMERESULT” and NOT “UTMERESULTS”.
  4. Also, there should be no space between UTME and RESULT. It should be sent as one word “UTMERESULT”
  5. Some of the issues can equally be a result of a bad network; depending on the network you are using there may be technical hitches that may be resolved with time. So we advise candidates to give it a little time and try again.
  6. Meanwhile, we are going to monitor and know when JAMB has enabled their portal so that candidates can easily check their results online via the JAMB portal.
