A missing 300 level student of Tai Solarin Univeristy of Education (TASUED), Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has been found dead.
Damilola Ameen Ijaoye, was said to had been missing since Thursday, March 11, 2020, but his body has now been found at a morgue.
According to online sources, the deceased was allegedly killed by a trigger-happy police officer.
The sources claimed that the policeman was gunning for the bikeman that Ameen patronized after leaving a viewing center where he had gone to watch a football match, but unfortunately, the bullet hit Ameen who died on the spot.
The source said: “He had gone out to watch a football match at a viewing centre. Eyewitnesses told us they saw him leave the viewing centre and hop on a bike.
“A police officer who wanted to collect bribe, aimed for the bikeman that Ameen patronized, but unfortunately, the bullet hit him and he died.
“His corpse was dumped at the morgue. We only found out about it this morning when we went on a routine search. It’s sad that this is still happening. #EndPoliceBrutality,” the source added.
