‘I almost gave up’ – Davido reacts after welcoming twins with partner

Davido, the renowned singer, recently shared the overwhelming joy he and his wife, Chioma, experienced upon discovering that they were expecting twins. The celebrity couple, who were recently seen with their newborn twins in a video released on Friday, were filled with immense happiness.

During his speech at the United Masters Select Con event on Sunday, the ‘Timeless’ artist revealed that God had blessed them with twins in the same month their son, Ifeanyi, had tragically passed away. The singer had lost his son due to a pool incident at their home in October 2022.

Davido expressed, “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month my son passed. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October.”

“I was at the point of giving up. A beautiful boy and girl came back in double. I kept the faith despite it being very hard,” he said.
