I am more talented than Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy – Tiwa Savage

Renowned Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage, whose full name is Tiwatope Omolara Savage, has declared that she is musically more talented than the so-called “Big 3″—Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.

IDOMA VOICE recall that Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are widely regarded as the top trio in the Nigerian music scene, collectively known as the “Big 3.” However, there is ongoing debate about the potential addition of a fourth artist to this elite group, with Tiwa Savage, Rema, Asake, and others being considered.

In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Tiwa Savage shared her thoughts on her possible inclusion in this prestigious category. She confidently stated that her talent exceeds that of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are primarily recognized as the leaders of this group.

When asked whether she feels she should be part of the ‘Big 3’ or even the ‘Big 4’ conversation, Tiwa Savage replied, “Don’t get me started. If we are talking talent for talent, mic for mic, I am the big 1. If you take away the numbers [streams] and whatever criteria you use to judge who is ‘big,’ you won’t find me lacking on the mic. However, I understand that the rankings aren’t solely based on musical talent.”
