‘I met my husband Seyi Tinubu on Facebook’ — Layal shares her love story
Layal Jade Tinubu, wife of Seyi Tinubu the son of Nigeria’s president has shared how she first met her husband.
In a video released to mark Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday, Layal revealed that their love story began on the social media platform Facebook.
According to her, it wasn’t a pickup line that sparked their connection but rather Seyi’s demeanor and confidence.
“We met on Facebook,” she recounted. “I wouldn’t really say there was a pickup line per se, but it was more about how he carried himself.
He was confident yet easy-going, and he had this opulent charm like he didn’t really need to try.”
Layal, a Nigerian-Lebanese lawyer and entrepreneur, married Seyi Tinubu in 2016.
The couple has since been blessed with children.
