I need a Break, Adele pauses music career for rest

Popular British singer Adele is taking a sabbatical from her music career.

During a concert in Munich on Saturday, the 16-time Grammy winner shared with fans that she needs “a rest” after seven years of intense work.

She explained that she has been focused on building a fulfilling life and now wishes to enjoy the fruits of her labor.

“It has been amazing, but I just need a break. I’ve spent the last seven years creating a life for myself, and I want to live it now,” she said.

Adele recently confirmed her engagement to American sports agent Rich Paul.

The ‘Hello’ singer announced her upcoming marriage during her performance in Munich, Germany, on August 9.
