Popular British singer Adele is taking a sabbatical from her music career.
During a concert in Munich on Saturday, the 16-time Grammy winner shared with fans that she needs “a rest” after seven years of intense work.
She explained that she has been focused on building a fulfilling life and now wishes to enjoy the fruits of her labor.
“It has been amazing, but I just need a break. I’ve spent the last seven years creating a life for myself, and I want to live it now,” she said.
Adele recently confirmed her engagement to American sports agent Rich Paul.
