I pray for Tinubu to end well – Ooni of Ife

The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has reassured President Bola Tinubu of his commitment to offer prayers and supplications to ensure a fruitful and beneficial tenure. This assurance comes in light of the recent Supreme Court judgment that affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

In a congratulatory letter to Tinubu, Ooni Ogunwusi also noted that Tinubu’s victory at the apex court reflects the people’s belief in his ‘Renewed Hope’ initiative and signifies the love and support he enjoys from Nigerians.

Ooni Ogunwusi stated, “Dear Asiwaju, this development, which secures the people’s mandate and the nationwide jubilation that greeted it, attests to Nigerians’ love for your personality, belief in the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of your administration, and aspiration for a prosperous country, which was communicated via the February 25, 2023 presidential poll.

“For us at the House of Oduduwa, we take pride in your excellent profile of public service, particularly your decades of investment in human development and nation-building, which you exhibited as an ordinary Nigerian, senator of the Federal Republic, Lagos State Governor, and in other leadership capacities that have set you apart as primus interpares.”
