Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has made a revelation about the 2023 presidential election, foreseeing a possible rerun. However, he claims that powerful forces behind the election results will strongly oppose the idea of a rerun.
According to Primate Ayodele, there are leakages in the judiciary that are not properly addressed, and this may expose the All Progressives Congress (APC). He asserts that the APC is closely monitoring the proceedings at the election tribunal to ensure that nothing goes wrong in favor of the opposition.
In a statement released by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele expressed his concerns about the fairness of the judicial process. He suggests that if the tribunal wants to be fair, it should call for a rerun of the election. However, the forces behind the election results will likely oppose this and try to maintain the current outcome.
Primate Ayodele believes that such a scenario will undermine the credibility of the judiciary and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He emphasizes that the judiciary’s role is to raise the hope of Nigerians by delivering fair judgments, but powerful forces will fight against such a just decision.
The statement further warns that an unfair judgment could lead to the judiciary and INEC becoming irrelevant in the eyes of the Nigerian people. As the situation unfolds, Primate Ayodele’s insights are likely to draw attention and scrutiny from various stakeholders in Nigeria’s political landscape.
‘’What I see is a rerun but the power behind it will try to make it remain as it is. The tribunal is supposed to raise the hope of Nigeria and correct all the misconduct of the judiciary but the forces behind it will fight against the right thing.’’
‘’As Nigerians await the tribunal judgment, there is no way to it, there are leakages in the tribunal as revealed by the Lord. The leakages are not well packaged and will expose the ruling party.
“The ruling party has also realised that there are no two ways to it. There are cabals monitoring this tribunal and they are very desperate,” he said.
