Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on Nigerians to offer prayers, rather than sympathy, to President Bola Tinubu in the face of the current economic challenges in the country.
He stated that the prevailing economic hardship being experienced by Nigerians is a result of the consequences of Tinubu’s “Emi Lokan” and the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
In a statement released by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele stressed the importance of praying for Tinubu, emphasizing that the nation’s economy is currently in turmoil. He expressed concern about the existing corruption in the system and urged the government to take prompt action before the situation deteriorates further.
Primate Ayodele advised the government to heed God’s counsel and take measures to address the ongoing economic challenges. He mentioned that an increase in salaries alone is not the solution to the hardships faced by Nigerians.
The cleric also hinted at forthcoming prophecies for 2024, where he will provide more insights into the challenges the country is likely to encounter. He cautioned that the cost of commodities will rise, and access to three square meals may become problematic for many citizens.
Primate Ayodele emphasized that the government needs to collaborate with economists and clergymen who can offer insights and solutions to address the current economic turbulence. He encouraged people not to sympathize with Tinubu but to assist him through prayers, as he is experiencing the repercussions of his decisions and actions.
