Nigerian sensation, Sarah Aderibigbe, known as Ayra Starr, has taken a moment to appreciate the remarkable journey she’s been on. She fondly remembers a time when she used to sell fruits and vegetables alongside her grandmother, and she expressed gratitude for her growth.
The “Rhythm & Blues” star shared this heartwarming revelation on her Instagram story, where she recounted that she used to serenade customers with her singing while tending to their needs.
“6 years ago, this used to be me selling vegetables and fruits with my grandma, singing for whoever wanted to hear me. Now people are paying to watch me perform.”
It’s worth noting that Ayra Starr achieved stardom in 2021 with the release of her self-titled EP and its hit track “Away,” shortly after she was introduced as a Mavin Records artist.
