Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has expressed his disappointment following his team’s loss to Chelsea.
O’Neil had hoped for a positive result against Chelsea, especially after beating them both home and away last season, but things didn’t go as planned.
Chelsea dominated Wolves with a 6-2 victory at Molineux Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and the score could have been even higher as Chelsea missed several second-half opportunities.
Reflecting on the defeat, O’Neil said, “I was just disappointed.”
“It was a crazy game, we gave Chelsea so many good situations from crazy episodes that were so avoidable and we were badly punished. That spell was unrecoverable for us.
“There’s a lot we all need to look at and understand it’s unacceptable it went the way it did.”
