I will not tolerate hate speeches, inflammatory remarks – Alia warns

In a stern warning to the public, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State declared today that his administration will not tolerate hate speeches, inflammatory remarks, or inciting statements directed towards his government. Anyone found engaging in such activities will be held accountable and brought before the law to face the consequences of their nefarious acts.

Governor Alia’s statement comes as a firm stance against actions that could potentially undermine peace, unity, and stability in the state. He emphasized that maintaining a harmonious and inclusive society is crucial for the progress and development of Benue State.

The governor urged citizens to engage in constructive and respectful dialogue when expressing their concerns or grievances, promoting a culture of tolerance and understanding. He reminded the public that freedom of speech comes with a responsibility to exercise it within the boundaries of the law and with respect for the rights and feelings of others.

Governor Hyacinth Alia’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and preserving a peaceful environment sends a clear message to potential offenders that their actions will not go unpunished. The statement serves as a deterrent against the propagation of hate speech or any actions that may incite violence or division within the state.
