Ibrahim Tukur arrested for impregnating 12-year-old schoolgirl in Kastina

The police in Katsina State have arrested one Ibrahim Tukur, a Vice Principal of a secondary school in Rimi Local Government Area of the state, for allegedly impregnating a 12-year-old girl.

The minor has been delivered of a baby from the pregnancy through a Caesarian operation.

Parading Tukur and suspects at the State Police Command headquarters on Wednesday, spokesman for the Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, said that the Vice Principal was arrested on January 9, 2021, following a report on the incident at the Rimi Divisional Police headquarters by one Ibrahim Sani.

“The Vice Principal who is married to three wives used to take the girl from the school to his house where he had serial sex with her. As a result, he got the girl impregnated and she was delivered of a baby through a Caesarian operation,” SP Isah told reporters.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that all the paraded suspects are alleged to have committed rape-related offences.

Two of the suspects also paraded, Sulaiman Abubakar and Auwal Hamzat, were alleged to to have engaged in anal sex with three boys who were children of their neighbours.

The neighbours reported the incident to the police leading to their arrest.
