Idoma-born Ehi Mary Ekoja becomes first president of Medical students union in UniJos

Ehi Mary Ekoja of 600L has been elected as the President of Jos University Medical Students Association (JUMSA). She will succeed the outgoing Simon Vokol Ogenyi.

Ehi Mary Ekoja, is the first female President ever in the history of Jos Medical School since its inception in 1978.

Ehi Mary Ekoja who is of Benue state origin defeated other candidates to emerge as the president of the highly revered medical students association in the university of Jos.

The race for the presidency of the Jos University medical students association is considered to be a very tight race, and the candidates are usually male students.

The over 40 years jinx was been broken by the beautiful and intelligent Ehi Mary Ekoja, after she was declared winner by the electoral committee.
