Idoma-born Gabriel Agada shot dead in Lagos by unknown gunmen

One Gabriel Agada, a native of Orokam in Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State has been shot dead in Lagos.

Agada, believed to be in his 20s, was killed late Thursday night by unknown gunmen.

An eyewitness said the deceased was sitting in front of his sister’s shop when the gunmen arrived and opened fire on him.

He said, “Agada was sitting down relaxing in front of his sister’s shop that fateful hour when the assassins arrived and started shooting sporadically into the air.

“Residents thought they were armed robbers operating somewhere but unknown to them they were actually hired to kill Gabriel who was traced from his house to his sister’s shop where he was sitting down after work with many others.

“When finally gave up the ghost, the hoodlums immediately left the scene and zoom off without carting away with any valuables from the shop.”

IDOMA VOICE gathered that Gabriel hailed from Ai lgbena Ai Ona.

His remains have been deposited at the morgue immediately the incident happened pending when the family will release his burial arrangement.
