Shaibu, who has inspiring humanitarian and philanthropic credentials, believes that there is a potential locked up on everyman, and the distance between this potential and fulfilling is MINDSET.
He is of the opinion that for any man to make a geometrical progress in life there is always a need for him to change his beliefs.
This out-spoken life coach and motivator had one several occasions disclosed that one of the secrets to a great life is feeding of one’s mind with information that will his/her belief.
He once said during one of his talks shows that, “Some people simply do not have the desire to learn. They may be lazy, or they may not see the positive impact that learning would have on them. They have no passion inside that drives them to learn.
“So become passionate about learning. This will take some work, but the only way to do it is to begin learning about things that have an immediate impact in your life. Become passionate about learning. And when you do, you will be unlocking the potential of your mind.
Having some one to believe in you is a gift but is the least of requirements for you to succeed in your life pursuit. They are 99% naysayers who are positioned to distract you because they will never understand your dreams. You need to believe in yourself and know that you can and will succeed.
The truth is that you are not an accident. You are on a mission and have dreams to accomplish and it is your vocation to dream and accomplish them.
Those that will achieve their purposes are the ones that believe in themselves and know that they can and will.
He said it is amusing that some people after failing succeed would point accusing fingers at their kinsmen in the village as being responsible for their ordeals.
The only secret, he observed is for one to go back and take an inventory on one’s thoughts and statements.
